The group is also moving into the Portuguese market, opening an office in Lisbon
The Portual News reports that Spanish company Visalia is to offer a flat-rate bundle of electricity, gas, fibre broadband and telephony services for customers in Spain from February. They will be offered one-year contracts.
It already provides customers in Spain with electricity, gas, propane and diesel, and solar power. It has now established a partnership with an unnamed telecoms wholesaler. The group has also merged all its businesses – Watium, GasHogar, Syder, Doméstica, Visalia Solar and Visalia Renovables – into a single brand, Visalia.
Visalia is also preparing to enter the Portuguese market in February, opening an office in Lisbon.
Apparently Pablo Abejas, CEO of Visalia, told the newspaper El Economista he has ambitions to become one of the top 10 largest operators in Spain, even though Spain is one of the most ferociously competitive markets in Europe.
Abejas thinks that bundling telecoms and energy is the way to achieve that goal because it offers people certainty about their outgoings.
