Telefónica Germany/O2 has opted for MATTRIXX as its “monetization partner” as part of its new, leaner IT architecture, built around “web-scale technologies and solutions”.

MATRIXX was architected with open APIs so that it can integrate into 4G, 5G and fixed network elements and support IT applications.

The operator will deploy the MATRIXX Digital Commerce Platform, including its Cloud Native CCS, to replace the legacy charging and billing for consumer and enterprise services – mobile and fixed.

Cloud-native
