Orange, Proximus, Three and Vodafone headline IoT in Telecoms conference

Senior executives from Orange, Proximus, Three and Vodafone have been confirmed as headline speakers at the latest European Communications and Mobile Europe IoT in Telecoms conference.

The event, to be held in London on Thursday 12 April, brings together thought leaders from across telecoms to discuss IoT business models, technology roadmaps and debate the challenges the industry faces as it looks to play a role in this emerging area.

Stefano Gastaut, Vodafone’s new Director of IoT, will kick off the day with a keynote outlining the UK-based operator’s strategy and how it plans to stay ahead of its rivals.

Tom Gardner, Head of IoT & M2M at Three, will discuss the enterprise IoT opportunity, while Orange’s Ronan Le Bras and Proximus’ Vincent Hebbelynck will debate the merits of LoRa, LTE-M and NB-IoT.

Other sessions include discussions on what consumers want and the security challenges associated with delivering an IoT service.
