Lycamobile Spain, part of the Lyca Group, launched in 2010 and now has over 1.5 million customers.

Lyca’s clients and I hope that they will soon be able to enjoy the advantages of belonging to Masmovil Group.”

Savings

“We wish Masmovil the very best and continued success and growth in Spain.”

He said the Lyca Group would now focus attention on building its global presence and moving into new markets to add to its existing 23. Lycamobile launched in Uganda in January.

The transaction will be financed by bank debt. The acquisition is subject to approval from antitrust authorities.
