Big Four launch Go Ignite 5G innovation programme

The alliance of innovation units from Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Singtel and Telefónica issue open call to 5G innovators to participate.

They are, respectively, hubraum, Orange Fab, Singtel Innov8 and Connected Open Innovation.

Eligible organisations include startups or venture capital-backed companies developing 5G products or services for the business or consumer sectors.

Interested parties should submit their proposals between now and 7 via www.go-ignite.com.

The members of the alliance will evaluate proposals based on the degree of technological innovation, viability, speed of execution and maturity of each project.

Workshop validation

Those selected startups will be asked to present their proposals to execs from the members of the Go Ignite alliance in an online workshop from 21 to 23 September.

The workshop is designed to help them validate their proposals through the participation of alliance members.

The idea is that they will then be able to hone their solutions and fine-tune their strategies to meet market requirements, given that the Go Ignite members collectively have more than 1.2 billion customers in Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Australia.
