Colibria, a provider of new generation messaging, presence and socially aware network address book solutions, today announced the appointment of Lars Myhrum as CEO with immediate effect.
Lars Myhrum, co-founder of Colibria and Chief Operations Officer since 2000, takes over the role from Keith Gibson who will continue on the board of Colibria.
Announcing these decisions Bjørn Erik Reinseth, chairman of Colibria's board commented, "We thank Keith for his leadership of Colibria and he will continue as a member of the board. We are now entering a new phase where Colibria is increasingly winning new business for our SIP all-IP Server portfolio. The divestment of the IMPS business to Synchronica plc and appointment of Lars as CEO with his background as founder and COO ideally places Colibria to build and grow to meet the increasing demands of the convergence market."
Lars Myhrum co-founded Colibria in 2000 and drove the company forward as Chief Operations Officer. Myhrum has worked in the telecoms industry for 20 years, and his expertise includes experience with companies such as Systek, Alcatel, Thomson-CSF and Nera.
The executive management team is further strengthened by promoting Arild Nilsen to CTO and Paul Kemps to COO.
