Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), the UK multimedia mobile provider servicing mobile and digital interactive markets, has signed a contract to provide a bespoke interactive micro payment solution, using both SMS and IVR, for Sky's Interactive Games. The solution enables consumers to activate a ‘day pass' to play games.
Through the bespoke application, consumers will be able to buy a ‘day-pass' either by sending a text or by calling a telephone number, in response they will receive a unique PIN code which is used to activate their ‘day pass'.
The service demonstrates the ability to use SMS (text) and telephony (IVR), as an effective micro payment solution where other billing mechanisms are not available; giving the consumer greater choice in how they pay and interact with Sky Games.
Rob Weisz, Director of Wholesale Services, MIG said, "This custom-built service validates MIG's ability to work closely with clients on consulting, developing and delivering bespoke applications that suit their requirements and effectively integrate with existing services."
Caroline Villa, Commercial Manager, Sky Games said, "The bespoke application MIG has built delivers a choice of payment mechanisms and enhances the customer experience. We are delighted to be working with MIG."
