Zed and Eurosport have formed a partnership to develop and sell mobile services for major sporting events across Europe.
The partnership began with Euro 2004, Zed and Eurosport offered a range of exciting mobile services for all the International matches throughout the Euro 2004 tournament. Services will initially include ring tones, logos, games and alerts on major sporting events. The partnership is initially in place in the UK and Germany.
The partnership between Zed and Eurosport marks another significant step towards greater co-operation between Zed and media partners as Zed’s Head of Partnerships, Antti-Jussi Suominen explained:
“The partnership again confirms the fact that TV and mobile services complement one another very well. This is one of our most exciting media partnerships to date and we are really pleased to be able to join forces with Europe’s leading sports channel and offer our joint mobile services to their demanding audience.”
